Dr. Adam Harwood to NOBTS

June 4, 2013

CONGRATULATIONS!

The trustees of NOBTS elected Dr. Adam Harwood to that seminary’s faculty today.
Dr. Harwood leaves Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Ga., to fill these roles at the seminary:
Associate Professor of Theology;
McFarland Chair of Theology;
Director of the Baptist Center for Theology & Ministry;
and Editor of the Journal for Baptist Theology & Ministry.

TMC’s loss is NOBTS’s and the SBC’s gain.

Godspeed, Dr. Harwood.

Congratulations Dr. Harwood!! From what I understand about the SBC there are only two endowed chairs of theology. One is at Southern and occupied by their President and the other is at NOBTS and occupied by you. It certainly bodes well that we have a 5-point Calvinist occupying one chair and one that Calvinism would not be even close to describing him occupying the other. Also, after knowing the list of Calvinists that NOBTS has released on the SBC it is good to know they are bringing in someone with the same theological convictions as the Provost and President.
