Michael Bloomberg said in an interview with the New York Times as he contemplated his own mortality: “I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close.” New York Times for more.

Oh Michael, Michael, Michael… you cannot bypass the Way, the Truth and the LIFE… no one comes to the Father but by Jesus… FACT.  It has nothing to do with how motivated you were on gun control, smoking and obesity– nor how many people called you a “rock star” on earth.

Oh, Michael, if only you knew the Savior, you wouldn’t feel it is your responsibility to save the world from evil that you’ve conjured up in your mind. You’d be able to rest in Him and follow HIS lead in your life and see that which is really evil… it’s not guns– it’s sin in people who do not know Jesus and seek to destroy their fellow man because they have no values, no standards, no hope beyond their fingertips.  It’s the sin in people who seek to destroy babies in the womb to accommodate their selfish ambitions or goals and convenience.  It’s the sin in people who seek to destroy any utterance of faith in the LIVING GOD, who will not be mocked by people who disregard His teachings and ignore His only begotten Son.

Michael, turn to Jesus. He died to remove your sin– He paid the price for your wickedness and the wickedness of man. Let Jesus show you what is right and what is wrong.  Then you can be a true light in the darkness of this world.

Lord open this man’s eyes and be glorified because of Your goodness and mercy.  Pity his state of mind.  Pity his arrogance and pride.  You, Oh God, will exalt the humble and humble the proud. Today is the day of salvation.  May Michael, and all like him, come to know You, Oh Lord in all your righteousness and glory.
