Dr. Chapman has served the SBC well for many years. He played a key role in the CR, and I will forever be grateful for all the good that he has done. I do believe that it was time for new leadership at the EC. That is a big job. A lot has been going on in recent months. The EC may need someone younger with a new vision. I am glad, but not surprised, at the professional tone of this retirement announcement.
