Hey yall, that’s funny. That’s also some mighty fine singing.

    Merry Christmas!

That is one of my favorite clips. I just got the DVD that has excerpts from Ford’s Christmas shows. I saw it once before and he actually told the story of Jesus. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening again on broadcast TV anytime soon. We will watch it tonight.

What makes this so special to all of Blogtown is the fact that this is the first time Debbie Kaufman and Tim Rogers got to be together with other future bloggers. As you can see Tim was determined to outdo Debbie.

The little blogger who walked off was Robin Foster. He had remembered he had to write a note to Santa asking him to overlook him biting Wes Kenney on the arm. Wes was called Wesley back then.

And CB is the kid pointing at Tim declaring him a nut and a flake.

And, of course, this is Tennessee Ernie Ford!

Good things just seem to keep on coming out of Tennessee!!!!

    Two words: Al Gore.

Your hypothesis has now been debunked.

  7. Merry Christmas Robin,

I thought this might have been a clip from last’s weeks home church service in Perkin’s until Vol recognized Tennessee Ernie.

    Good stuff,
    Blessings,
    Chris
