Brother Alex,

Is there something you want to say about the numbers being presented concerning Dr. Henard?

Blessings,
Tim

But why, oh why, the numbers?

'has averaged more than 100 baptisms per year for the last nine years under Dr. Henard’s leadership, setting a new record both in the number of baptisms in one year and in consecutive 100+ baptism years'

Well, that makes him better than Jesus then. Oh, it doesn't? That makes it irrelevant then. It's real hard to turn in those stats from prison in North Korea. I imagine.

I hope that, like all godly men whose names are stat-attached, Bill is wise enough to be upset about the way he is being presented. That would make him a perfect candidate.

Or shall we go for Joel Osteen?

I too can vouch for Bill Henard. Having taken several Ph.D. classes with him, I have found him to be a scholar with a pastor's heart. Additionally, his love for the Lord Jesus Christ and the gospel is evident to anyone who has spent considerable time with him. His commitments to the SBC in general and the cooperative program in particular are second to none.

Bill will have my vote at the convention.

Before moving to Kentucky, Bill Henard was in Alabama. I will vouch for Bill Henard as a man of conviction and a man who is dependable. He always stood with conservatives in Alabama. I am excited to see Bill Henard nominated. Dr. Henard will get my vote.
