Podcasting

podcastb logoIf you’re a regular consumer of SBC Today Audio Resources, you may have noticed a slight change in format beginning with the interview with Dr. Frank Cox. This is due to the use of a new WordPress plugin called podPress that makes podcasting so easy, a, um, well, I don’t want to unnecessarily insult cavemen or Sooner fans, but it’s really easy.

So if you’re an iTunes user, you can now subscribe, and each time we post a new audio resource, it’ll magically find it’s way to your iPod. Just search “SBC” under podcasts. If you’re smarter than me and able to make use of such things, the podcast feed url is “http://sbctoday.com/?feed=podcast”.

Thanks to all of you who read and listen. Hopefully this new technology will make it easier for you to take advantage of the resources we offer.

Well, I couldn’t get the podcast feed to work in Ubuntu Linux under RhythmBox, so I had to boot into Vista to listen to it. Something’s “squirrelly” with my plugin settings, or with RhythmBox (and perhaps I should try another player). I’ll have to break out the digital screwdriver and pocket wrench and pop the hood, then stare determinedly until inspiration arrives or frustration gets there first. ;)

Anyhoo— good interview. Kudos to Peter Lumpkins and SBC Today for it. And of course, thanks go to Dr. Frank Cox for granting it.

    Works great on a Mac.

Of course, you could paste that phrase into a wide variety of contexts and still be accurate.

By the way, you guys aren’t fooling me. You shut down that other thread just to keep from having to award the 200th comment prize.

So easy Kelvin Sampson could do it without cheating!

CB has nothing to say. Apparently I now have his number!
